What I Love About the HomeWe were drawn to this house because of its historical characteristics and its proximity to the Town Common. We sit in the large country kitchen and delight in watching the birds that visit the perennial gardens all year long. Reading on the wonderful sleeping porch is a favorite past time of ours in the warmer months and reading by the fire is simply sublime in the winter. The tranquil land offers Christmas trees, apple trees and a bountiful raspberry patch. We love and appreciate the quintessential New England stone walls that are reminiscent of a by-gone era. Consider this spectacular location for your own agricultural pursuits! The two barns on the property (the larger is 30 x 30 post and beam construction), provide ample space for other farming endeavors. The large encompassed field includes a smaller, two stall barn. When the day is done, we enjoy watching spectacular sunsets while relaxing on the patio! We love living in this house that has so much to offer!
